Guard - Iraq

Overview : Provide static security for clients. This position is located in Iraq. Responsibilities: Internal and external control points BDOC Perimeter towers Internal roving Searching vehicles Visitors and their belongings Armed escort guard services Responsible for the day-to-day armed or unarmed security activities for principal Identify problems and implement solutions in coordination with supervisor Work all aspects of security to ensure principal's safety Gather intelligence as required Comply with all federal, state and foreign government laws Assist team leaders with planning and organizing activities to meet client needs Other duties, responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Qualifications : Operate and employ pistols, shoulder fired weapons, light and medium machine guns from various platforms Proficient at utilizing a hand-held metal detector Four years military (special ops preferred) or law enforcement experience (within the last five years) No Felony convictions No Domestic Violence convictions Valid US Blue Civilian Passport Valid civilian driver's license preferred In-country experience preferred Understand and successfully address various operational issues Maintain effective professional relationships with employees and outside individuals and agencies Effectively communicate with individuals and agencies from diverse cultures and backgrounds Exercise sound judgment in all areas of responsibility High School Diploma or G.E.D 25 years of age or older Proficiency with Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and database software.
