In May 2006 Telecommunications Corporation [Etisalat of the Unites Arab Emirates] signed an agreement with Afghan authorities in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. to operate a GSM network across Afghanistan and become the fourth GSM operator in the country.

Job SummarySummary
This position implements policies and procedures to ensure the physical protection, safety and security of Etisalat sites in specific Provinces of the Central Region.
This individual acts as an Intel in matters pertaining to security.
Essential Functions
Include the following.
Implement security procedures for protection of Etisalat sites, employees, subcontractor employees, and visitors.
Routinely, inspect specific central Region sites in order to determine security needs and that service are executed effectively.
Visit sites regularly to detect safety/security hazards and to ensure the safety/security rules are enforced.
Notify the Regional Security Specialist of security irregularities, problems and weaknesses for addressing these issues.
Oversee security staffing levels at sites and ensure 24/7 coverage are provided.
Make recommendations to formulate emergency policies, determine need for sites.

Education and/or Other Desirable Requirements
Minimum 4 years practical experience with security systems in the Central Region
Certificate.
