To supervise the facility and custodial staff
Must be able to stand for entire shift, squat, kneel, climb and work from ladders, and be able to lift 50 pounds at one time without difficulty.
Must have working knowledge and the ability to use various hand tools.
Supervise day to day tasks
Distributes workload on a daily basis
Follows all EHS procedures and makes sure the department does as well
Works with employees on daily tasks
Divides workload on priority basis
Keeps maintenance schedule for equipment
Provide safety awareness training to all employees
Make sure maintenance has equipment and material needed to do job assigned to them
Work with safety on any job hazards
Make sure employees are trained for any job tasked to them
Make sure we stay ahead of any helicopter crates that will be needed
Keep facility looking top notch
Work with other departments to find solutions to problems
Safety- Lock Out/Tag Out, Fall Protection, Skyjack training, Electrical Arc flash training
Manage budget for department by keeping costs to minimal and by receiving quotes from multiple sources.
Education:
College degree with at least 1 year experience
Safety certifications, Carpentry skills, Able to supervise diverse staff
Position Requirements:
1 years experience working in a facility maintenance environment with knowledge of all aspects of facility upkeep. Experience providing leadership over staff that provides all aspects of building maintenance for multiple facilities.
