The FMS Manager/Trainer will teach and mentor Iraqi Army Ministry of Defense (MoD) staff and OSCI Staff on weapons systems procurement and contract management. The FMS Manager/Trainer will advise, train and assist Iraqi Army MoD with procurement of U.S. Military equipment and contract management. The FMS Manager/Trainer manages all aspects of U.S. FMS cases and trains their Iraqi counterparts on the FMS process. The FMS Manager/Trainer will perform all Staff related requirements for this position to include preparing and presenting briefings at the General / Flag Officer level. Responsibilities: Advise, train and assist Iraqi Ministry of Defense and OSCI on U.S. Foreign Military Sales. ? Interact with senior Iraqi Government and military officials and introduce and train these officials on the US Government contracting process ? Manage US Government FMS Cases to support new equipment and sustainment training of the Iraqi military ? Responsible for maintaining FMS records, conducting briefings, developing FMS cases and other related staff work to support FMS case management ? Responsible for the procurement of training aids, manuals, ammunition, training curriculum and other assets necessary to support the fielding and training of FMS

Must be willing to work and live in Iraq and could be assigned to any location in Iraq based upon the needs of the U.S. Government ? Must be willing to deploy and live on Forward Operating Bases (FOB) operated by the US Government under austere conditions. Force protection is provided by the US Government ? Must conform to military grooming standards ? Must be willing and able to travel outside of protected areas via military convoys or MILAIR, and wear protective clothing and equipment as required. ? Must have a U.S. Secret Clearance to perform this job. ? The FMS Case Manager/Trainer shall have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Foreign Military Sales or US Government contracting ? Must be a graduate of one of the following schools or worked at one of the following organizations (or equivalent): o Defense Institute of Security Assistance o Office of Defense Cooperation o Defense Security Cooperation Agency o Navy International Program Office Desired Qualifications: ? Prefer previous experience training and advising foreign military staffs ? Previous Military Acquisition or Contracting experience ? Project Management experience Required Education: ? Must have a Bachelors degree and 6 years of FMS related work experience.
