Intelligence Analyst , Afghanistan/Iraq

Clearance: Top Secret/SCI
Location: Afghanistan/ Iraq

Key Role:
ExNovo has immediate and upcoming openings for experienced junior, mid, and senior level Intelligence Analysts to support DoD and intelligence community contracts. These positions are located in a variety of regions within Afghanistan and Iraq. Rotational deployments can range from 6 months to 1 year.

Duties may include:
- Preparing all-source intelligence products; assisting in establishing and maintaining systematic, cross-referenced intelligence records and files; receiving and processing reports and messages; assisting in determining the significance and reliability of incoming information; assisting in the analysis and evaluation of intelligence holdings to determine changes in an adversaries capabilities, vulnerabilities and probable courses of action.

- Coordinates and participates in the analysis, processing, and distribution of strategic and tactical intelligence; solves difficult technical problems. Directs and participates in information retrieval, knowledge consolidation, analysis, and development of assessments of facts, threat intents, cultural behavioral norms, implications of the environment, and friendly as well as adversarial involvement in that environment, and guides accurate identification of adversarial intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential threat courses of action.

- Integrates and manages the intelligence capabilities of team with operations support teams.

- Maintains and increases organizational knowledge of analytic methodologies, best practices, and common procedures for community activities.

- Possess strong research and writing skills. Develops standards for research and report writing, reviews intelligence reports, and mentors analysts.

- Demonstrated good oral and written communication skills;

- Prepares in-depth intelligence reports for senior officials and military services, briefing senior officials and providing reports and input to intelligence community products directed toward the highest levels.

- Familiarity with IC systems and database, general understanding of specialized intelligence collection methods and the ability to fuse collected information into usable products.

- Proficient in the use of basic intelligence computer applications and intelligence related automation, including MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) to support analytical efforts and product development.

- Desired experiences in supporting the following mission areas are also highly desirable: Counter –IED (C-IED), Counter-Terrorism, Counter Threat Finance, Cyber, Foreign Cultures, and Digital Network Analysis.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Junior -Specialized training and 2+ years of intelligence analysis experience or 3-4 years of military intelligence experience.

- Mid - Bachelors degree and 4-8 years of intelligence analysis experience

- Senior - Bachelors and 8-10+ years of intelligence analysis experience or specialized training

Additional Qualifications:

- This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance. Candidates who do not currently hold this level of clearance will not be considered.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

- Candidates may be required to meet DOD/ military medical/dental fitness for duty requirements.

- Prior experience deploying OCONUS to support military or intelligence community programs is strongly preferred.
