Clerk, Logistics - OCONUS

Location: , Afghanistan
Overview: THIS JOB IS LOCATED OVERSEAS IN AUSTERE ENVIRONMENTS WITH A DEPLOYMENT ROTATION SCHEDULE. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. citizenship required) • Keep the Stores Dept. and other storage facilities clean and organized • Will store, tag and identify, and provide the necessary environmental and physical protection for all of the company's inventory assets. • Segregate serviceable and unserviceable parts per company policies. • Perform and document monthly shelf life inspections. • Retain and file Purchase Order and parts traceability forms. • Monitor and send for calibration or repair any company tools or equipment. • Arrange shipping of all materials except Hazardous Materials. • Receive, tag and prepare for inspection all incoming materials. • Perform inventory of spare parts and help to determine appropriate inventory levels. • Assemble kits for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

Education/Experience: Required: • High school diploma required, Associate's preferred. • Five (5) years of previous supply/logistics experience required. Preferred: • 6K - 10K Forklift Operator • PC literate (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio). • Experience with Win Air/Trax software
General
Comments: ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Participate as needed in the Quality and Safety Audit program. • Maintain and file all MSDS information [prior to making any materials available to maintenance personnel. • Issue all parts to maintenance personnel and update computerized inventory records. • Issue company tools and ensure that all tooling is returned at the end of each shift. • Perform other duties as assigned or required. • Audit of logs and trip reports and other DOT reporting, maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of driver equipment requests and pallet tracking. • Involve Safety team as required by location • Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
