LG4 Heavy Vehicle Operator - Afghanistan

LG4 Heavy Vehicle Operator Job Summary: Responsible for operating company vehicles, equipment and related assets for LOGCAP IV. Principal Accountabilities: Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to thirty (30) tons both straight and combination of materials, tools and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance as well as moving supplies for one warehouse to another. Loads and unload vehicles. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills: Must have experience at couple and uncouple trailers, connecting or disconnecting air and electrical lines. Must be physically able to properly secure loads for transport using chains, grinders and straps. Bust be able to carry seventy (70) pounds unassisted multiple times throughout an assigned shift. Must have a Class a CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Physical Requirements: Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable. Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions. Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions. Experience: Typically required three (3) to five (5) years of over the read related experience in a combination truck. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
