The Operations Advisor shall be responsible for the day‑to‑day planning,
coordination, execution and tracking of all operations, to include
training, deployments and movement. The Operations Advisor shall
synchronize the embedding of Advisors with support tactical and
operational headquarters staffs across the theater, and shall ensure
that embedded operations are planned and conducted in accordance with
command Friendly Force Information Requirements (FFIR) and other
applicable guidance. He shall perform operational and course of action
(COA) analysis as required; coordinate with the SIA in developing
effective targeting, infrastructure development, and other projects in
support of COIN operational goals; and perform other duties as directed
